With apparel, bike gear, and two online personnel stores...Northstar was honored to partner with Tour de Tonka. Not just for their incredible annual ride, but for the 20th anniversary of this celebrated event. This milestone year made the collaboration extra special. We collaborated closely with the Tour de Tonka team, exploring a variety of design concepts before finalizing the selections.
From the start, we had several goals in mind: designing volunteer shirts, rider shirts, and an entire lineup of merchandise that riders and fans would love. We also put a strong focus on showcasing the amazing sponsors who make events like this possible, making sure their support was shone through in multiple pieces.
Some of the garment choices and clothing given out were trusted favorites we’ve successfully used in the past, while others were completely fresh. We always mockup our ideas for approval, before sending to be printed or embroidered, etc. It’s a team effort!
But the fun didn’t stop with Tour de Tonka. We also rolled up our sleeves to work with the community on Tonka Trail Trot and the Tonka Youth Triathlon. Helping bring energy, unity, and a fresh look to each event. It was a season full of creativity, collaboration, and celebrating the incredible spirit of the local cycling and running community.
